Hypnotherapy and My Approach

How Hypnotherapy Works – and Why the Transformational Approach Leads to Deep and Lasting Results

What exactly hypnotherapy is?

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic method that uses a natural state of deep relaxation and focused attention — a state in which the subconscious mind becomes open to change. In this state, it’s possible to safely work with emotions, memories, and patterns of thinking that usually remain beyond conscious awareness.

Unlike traditional psychotherapy, which works primarily with the conscious mind, hypnotherapy provides direct access to the root causes of difficulties within the subconscious — the place where problems originally formed and still reside. This is where deep beliefs and emotional imprints shape our feelings, reactions, decisions, and relationships.

Why don’t all types of hypnotherapy work the same way?

There are many schools and approaches within hypnotherapy. Some focus mainly on the surface level of the issue — addressing a symptom through positive suggestions, without exploring its underlying cause. This may seem effective at first, especially for clients new to hypnotherapy, but in most cases such results are not long-lasting.

If the root cause isn’t resolved where it originated, it tends to return — or show up in a different form (for example, through another symptom or in another area of life). That’s why it’s essential to work directly with the source of the difficulty in the subconscious mind, not just with its outward expression.

My approach – what makes it transformational?

In my practice, I use a transformational approach, based on advanced clinical hypnotherapy and integrating the best elements of several hypnotherapeutic schools. It’s a highly personalised process, always tailored to the individual and their specific topic — truly hypnotherapy tailored for you.

My approach combines elements of regression and analytical hypnotherapy, parts work, inner child healing and reparenting, corrective emotional experiences to rewrite the impact of past events, somatic work, and integrative psychotherapeutic principles. It is also trauma-informed, meaning it is sensitive to the physical and emotional manifestations of trauma, and focused on safety, stability, and trust. Transformational hypnotherapy enables deep and lasting change without retraumatisation.

The change often unfolds naturally and quickly — sometimes literally overnight, and especially in the days following the session, as the body and mind align with the new inner reality.

What makes the transformational approach different?

This approach brings together psychology, neuroscience, and conscious work with the subconscious into one coherent whole. Transformational hypnotherapy is a deep yet safe process, whose effectiveness can rival psychedelic-assisted therapy — but without any risks and entirely without the use of substances.

It opens the door to natural integration — without pharmacological intervention, yet with a similar depth of experience and lasting positive effect.

What does transformative hypnotherapy include?

The transformational approach:

  • works with the root cause of the problem, not just its symptoms,

  • combines techniques from various hypnotherapeutic schools,

  • respects each client’s individual pace and needs,

  • is trauma-informed and safe, even when working with deeper issues,

  • supports the integration of body, mind, and consciousness into natural harmony.

What can you expect after a session?

Everyone responds to hypnotherapy differently — but most clients notice visible changes already during the session and in the following days. Many describe feeling calmer, lighter, and more at ease in their body the very next day.

Over the following days, these shifts often continue to deepen — appearing in relationships, emotions, reactions, or overall mindset. For some, the transformation is instant and lasting after just one session; for others, it unfolds gradually as the new balance integrates naturally.

Based on my long-term experience, more than 90% of clients notice lasting improvement regardelss of the issue they came to me with — whether in the form of greater ease, confidence, emotional stability, or the ability to respond to life’s challenges with calm and perspective.

💫 In summary: why transformative hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy can be an incredibly powerful tool for personal transformation — especially when it works with the cause, not just the effect. The transformational approach combines depth, sensitivity, and effectiveness from all major schools of hypnotherapy, creating the conditions for real change that lasts.
